Our Vision

THE BETHESDA HOUSE OF GRACE MINISTRIES is a Christian charity founded in July 2010 Based in the UK, we have partners in Africa. We are dedicated to addressing the needs of children, the elderly, families, young people, and positively contributing to as many communities as possible in the UK and Africa.  

BETHESDA HOUSE OF GRACE MINISTRIES has a special burden for people living in poverty. Many international organizations have highlighted the severity of the misery and distress that affects young people, children and families in Europe, Asia and Africa.  

Similarly in the UK, it is clear that many communities face social deprivation and difficulties that threaten the survival of such communities. Crime, poverty, low levels of education, abuse, is all problems that need to be addressed. 

Underpinning this vision is a burden for the poor and suffering which is based on our spiritual values. As a Christian ministry, BETHESDA HOUSE OF GRACE MINISTRIES believes that we need to continue the great Ministry of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who while He was on earth, healed the sick, fed the hungry and comforted the poor. The book of Matthew says that anything we do to the least of His brethren, i.e. the poor, we are doing it unto Him. Also, true religion, is to visit the widows as well as the fatherless (James).

Physical help we plan to provide relates to the educational, medical, business, vocational, and development of people; assistance is therefore geared through different means in order to attain such development.

But we also believe that physical needs are not the only priorities. The Lord also ministered to the souls and spirits of people. As ‘man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God’ (Matthew.) we provide opportunities for people of all backgrounds and ages to experience the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ in a practical and understanding way.

That is why in addition to providing physical and emotional assistance for people in poverty and need we also present the Good News of the Life, Ministry, Death, Resurrection and Return of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose teachings and example provides man both with the way of overcoming life’s difficulties and attaining Heaven. This is done through the exposition and teaching of the Holy Scriptures which are the Word of God; the organisation of prayer and intercession sessions; spiritual outreaches to people both in the UK, Asia and in Africa; and using the Word of God to minister to the many physical and spiritual needs of people.
